How to Create an Internal/Student Repair Ticket

Use this process when repairs are being handled by your internal team or students.


Create the Helpdesk Ticket

  1. Click Manage, then click Tickets

  2. Click Create New Ticket

  3. Populate all relevant helpdesk ticket information

  4. Check Requires Repair

  5. Select Internal or Student from the Repair Provider dropdown

  6. Click Save & Next to proceed to the linked repair ticket

Complete the Repair Ticket

Information is pre-populated from the helpdesk ticket.

  1. Specify the Failure Type, Technician, and Part

  2. Confirm the Ship Parts To location

  3. Complete any remaining fields and click Create Repair
